BF moms- let's talk poop!
DS went from what seemed like pooping all day long as a newborn, to pooping once a day, than to every other day and now at 4 months pooping every 4-5 days. Is this normal? He has like 1 giant blow out every 4-5 days and that's it!
He does however soak every diaper.

DS is 4 months 2 weeks today. He pooped like crazy when he was a newborn now he is pooping once a day sometimes twice a day. He hasn't missed a day yet. But I think it's normal to go every few days.

I read that it's normal for them to go a few days w.o. pooping.
DS is 2 months. He was going 1-2x a day but this week he has gone just once (monday).
He also soaks his diaper.

DD is 4months and she goes about 2x's a day, sometimes 3. How many lbs is your DS? DD is still a peanut at 11lbs 8oz (as of 8/26) maybe that has something to do with it.

DS is prob a little over 15 lbs. now. He doesn't seem uncomfortable but I start to worry when it's been 4 days and he hasn't gone- that's gotta affect him somehow!

That's how DD was too. As long as he's not uncomfortable and straining it's totally normal.

My little guy used ot go after each feeding when he was a newborn. He's 3.5 months now and goes once a day/ once every other day

my son was the same way - before we started food at 6 months - he pooped once a week from about 3 months to 6 months and was not constipated - bm is just more efficient therefore less waste
it is totally fine as long as they are not straining and are not gassy to the point of unhappy because of it
