Best pools in Vegas?
dh and I are planning a trip to Vegas the first week of May. We're seeing some great deals right now, but not sure where to stay. I've been many times (mostly for work) but dh has never been there.
Basically Mandalay and MGM seem to have nice pools, but I don't want to stay at the end of the strip.
Mirage is a pretty good deal pricewise, but the room is basic. The pools are great though.
Bellagio is about $400 more than Mirage, nicer room with a view of the fountain. I've never seen the pool area though.
Soooooo...my question is...do we splurge and stay at Bellagio, is the pool area really nice? Or do we take the better deal and stay at the Mirage? TIA!

I'd splurge on the Bellagio. Their pool area is gorgeous and plus, you'd be in the center of the Strip.

Re: Best pools in Vegas?
While Mandalay has a very nice pool area it is always really packed and like you said location isn't the greatest. I love the location of the Bellagio and really liked the pool area. They were very nice and there are a number of them, and not as crowded. Service for drinks/food was a lot better at the Bellagio compared to Mandalay. I have also heard that Ceasars pool is great, which is right next door to the Bellagio.

I agree. I stayed at Mandalay. The pool/beach is awesome but you have to buy your own floats for the lazy river. Its hard to get a beach chair on the weekends and the hotel was a tad out of the way.
I would go with Bellagio!
