Anyway, I was commenting on the cinematic qualities of the scene. The writing, the build up, background music. Just a very well executed scene. I barely noticed the two actresses....

another one that i love is (dont be skeeved) the Brokeback Mountain kiss between Ennis (Heath Ledger) and Jack (Jake Gyllenhaal) when they see each other again after 4 years. forget about the gay factor, just the passion and how much they longed for each other over the years...the 2 of them are such great actors!

i haven't seen the notebook. i read the book. if the movie is 1/10th the book, i bet it's really good.
