BEST laundry detergent?
What would you say is the best detergent for keeping your clothes from fading? And also you know how the bottom of your socks get "stained" - even though you wash them..what's the best (besides bleaching) for getting most of the dirt stains out of them?
Thanks!

Re: BEST laundry detergent?
I think the Woolite detergent is the best. It keeps the colors bright and the fabric stays intact (no stretching or clothes losing their shape). I usually throw a scoop or a packet of Oxyclean in and that helps w/stains and keeping the clothes white.

Re: BEST laundry detergent?
I use regular liquid tide for detergent
as far as stains...Zout is my go to stain remover
2nd up is regular table salt/ hydrogen peroxide-really a tie for second-i couldn't decide
3rd is afta (it is a dry cleaning solvent-sold on the laundry aisle at the grocery store-works well on stubborn stains or for removal of stains on dry clean only items.
4th is murphys oil soap-only listed as fourth as this probably works the best, but it takes 20 more loads to get the smell of murphys oil soap out of the clothes..hahaha...i really only use this if none of the above work and I am desperate to save that favorite shirt!

Re: BEST laundry detergent?
Tide is the best..the other brands don't get stains out as well. Also keeps colors and whites vibrant.

I use Charlie's Soap and love it! . I found it was stripping the color right out of my clothes because it doesn't have a colorguard. You don't find that? And I was washing on cold in a HE front loader too. I like Tide and Kirkland brand detergent(which is comparable to Tide at a fraction of the price)

Omg, no! I've been using it for about 3 months now.
I have a top loader and run hot!

Re: BEST laundry detergent?
i use woolite for my better clothes and ALL for my sleep clothes and gym stuff etc.
I used to think it was Tide and only Tide. However, I honestly think the price of Tide is getting totally ridiculous. ALL works just as well.
