Best Convertible Car Seat for a small car?
DH has a really small car, a 2003 KIA Rio. We've never bothered to put a car seat in there because I drive DS everywhere. But a situation has come up and now I will need DH to drop off DS at daycare in the mornings. Any recommendations? I have a Britax Marathon in my Camry but to me it looks way too big for DH's car. Thanks!

We don't have a small car, but its an SUV with a small backseat. Plus DH is tall so he sits so far back. We got the Britax Roundabout 55 and it seems to be working. It seems it takes up less room than the infant seats which we didn't expect.

Best Convertible Car Seat for a small car?
BRU steers us away from the britax for our civic and recommended the graco my size 70. It fits well and DD is still comfy rear facing at almost 2. There's not a lot of space in the front passenger seat but it's enough for me and DH can squeeze in for short trips.

BRU recommended the Graco 70 to me too, then Carseat Chris said the Britax is smaller. I never installed the Graco, just returned it, so I'm not sure which would have fit better. The Britax was cheaper too.

Carseat Chris recommended the Evenflo Symphony for my small car
Edited to add that i didnt buy it yet. I only purchased his recommended choice for our larger SUV -- which was a Britax Marathon or Blvd. We went with the Marathon.
There is a comparison chart online that shows the different seats, and their dimensions. Im shocked BRU would suggest the Graco 70 when it has the biggest depth!

Best Convertible Car Seat for a small car?
Although the Roundabout has a lower weight limit - the Roundabout and Marathon's shell are the same size so it really doesn't save you any space.
