best aquarium (outside ny)
Hi ladies, wonderinf if you could tell me what you think is the best outside ny state aquarium, preferably something in a few hour drive from long island... thanks
We love the one in coney island, but since stuff isn't all open id rather not go there

Mystic is great and so is the one in Boston! We take the ferry out of Orient so not sure how long to drive around to Boston, maybe 4-5 hours?

We just went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. It was very nice (and big), and the kids loved it.

The aquarium in Norwalk, CT is great and we also loved Adventure Aquarium (right outside Philly).
ETA: I really did not like the one in Baltimore, despite the rave reviews I've always heard.

I love the National Aquarium in Baltimore. The Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery Children's Museum, and B and O Railroad Museum are all nearby as well.
