Best 1st Bday gift for a GIRL?
going to a 1st birthday party next weekend. the little girl is turning 1  she has a 3 year old brother, and mom said she doesn't have any "girly" toys.... I have a 4 year old boy, so I'm out of the loop as far as a "girl" toys.
so... any good ideas? thanks!

My dd got a baby doll and lots of accessories for it- high chair, bassinet, stroller & extra clothes. She still plays w it at almost 4

my dd loved her doll and stroller shortly after she turned 1
she also loves her pottery barn anywhere chair
eta - around 15 months she started to really enjoy her leap frog picnic basket...at 20 months she still plays with it

Yes a good stroller and doll. We still play with ours 4 yrs later. And maybe bottles to go with it

Best 1st Bday gift for a GIRL?
DD liked and still plays with her little people princess castle and all the princesses. Dolls and doll accessories, dress up stuff, a shopping cart.

I definitely agree with the leapfrog picnic basket and tea set. And agree with the doll stuff as well. Once dd turned about 15 months, she almost exclusively plays with the above.

Best 1st Bday gift for a GIRL?
My dd at that age loved her baby dolls so hard. Also a stroller or a little crib to go with it. She loves to play mommy.
