Belgian Blocks
Are there any other materials that are less expensive than belgian blocks to use on the edge of our driveway (which will most likely me asphalt)?

we used pavers. I wanted blocks, but the driveway guy advised against them b/c when it snows, it's hard to see where the blocks are and a lot of people mess up their tires by hitting into them.
