Re: being tired?

It started at about 6 weeks for me. I am 28 weeks and still waiting for that burst of energy that I was told I would get in the 2nd trimester. I'm not quite as bad as I was in the beginning, but I'm not my old self. I doubt I every will be again!!!!Chat Icon

Re: being tired?

from a week bfore BFP until a week into the 2nd tri. I mean I am still more tired than what I was before PG, but nothing like what I felt during the first tri.

Mine started the day before AF was due! I took a nap yesterday, something I NEVER do unless I am very sick.

I think i got tired around 7 weeks, and i have periods of energy throughout the day, but for the most part, i can fall asleep at any given time.

Re: being tired?

Totally exhausted in first trimester. I could have slept on the floor of the grocery store.

Now at about 20 wks. I am still tired. I take breaks and know when to rest.

Re: being tired?

I have been tired throughout my entire pregnancy!
I am also on blood pressure medicine 3xs a day, so i attribute some of the tiredness to that.

Re: being tired?

I wasn't tired at all during my first tri, but I was also on summer vacation from my teaching job. When I went back (week 12) I was wiped out by the end of the day, and by about week 20 or so I felt a little more energetic. Then at about week 28 the fatigue came back. Now I'm 34 weeks, and less tired, but I also just started my maternity leave.

For me it was right away until about week 8.
I should have know I was pregnant when right before I got my BFP I took a 4 1/2 hour nap in the middle of a SaturdayChat Icon

Second trimester was pretty good.

It's back again for the third trimester. A bit different though.
