Being that I am new and all................

I was just wondering,


I have not officially started ttc (we will be starting in August). But I have many friends who it took a very long time before they conceived.

My question is, Is it hard being part of this site when you are trying so desperately for something and it just isn't happening and then you see people who announce that they are pregnant?

I know this site lets people vent, and question, and support one another but I could only imagine being one of the girls who was trying for so long and keep seeing person after person succeeding at it.

How do you handle the let down of the whole situation month after month?

Yes, it's hard.

I have been here for what seems like forever and have seen MANY MANY people come and go. I've even just gotten to the point where people are back to TTC #2 and I'm still here waiting to get PG.

The road is different for everyone.. but I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that there is NO way that I could have gotten through these times without this board and the IF board. The support here is just unbelievable... and I've even made friends IRL from here.

it is hard to see the people get their bfp before you, but you know that yhou have become a family on here, and the have been trying just as hard as you, so you are happy for them, just as you would want them to be happy for u! it is hard; i wont deny it, because you want it more than life itself, but you are friends.... this site def makes it more helpful ; you teach each other and cope with each other; laugh and cry together, etc. you will see.

Well I think in the beginning I was very naive and thought it would happen the first month of trying - but that just wasn't the case for me. I know that there are those that it happens for right away and those who have been here longer than me (6-7 months) I think this board is very supportive of all the ttc girls....of course there are months you are frustrated and then there are months where you are completely positive but everyone else here has those same reactions - so it helps...

for when you want it.

I've been TTC for over a year ...

I love this board because I can come on here and vent about stuff I never would to people IRL.


It can be frustratiing, upsetting at times to see everyone else get their BFP.


But, when you are on here and get to know the girls, you are excited for them to get their BFPS!


So overall it's worth it.

I am sure it is hard but you just keep on trucking, nothing else you can do

TTC is a revolving door as I see. People come, go, come back again.

All you can do is hope. Sometimes it is so hard to see BFPs when all you see is a BFN.
