beginning AF or implantation?
So here I am CD36. Not sure if I'm actually late because it's my 2nd cycle off BCP and my first cycle was 51 days. I wasn't "trying" this month. DH and I are "being careful" to put it nicely (aka PNP), but I know that's not a fool-proof method. I'm not positive when I O'd but I think it might have been around CD 19. So I've been feeling like I'm about to get AF for the past 10 days or so. Today I have pinkish discharge...very light pink.
What does implantation bleeding typically look like? And when should I test again? I tested at CD28 and CD33 so figured I was out.
(And since I saw the post about BFP dreams. I had one of those about 10 days or so. Very vivid.)
TIA!!
ETA: I don't usually spot with discharge with AF. She usually comes on like a normal flow.

Re: beginning AF or implantation?
I have never spotted right before AF either...until this month of course, which was my first month off BCP. I spent 2 days agonizing over the spotting because I didn't know what to make of it. On the 3rd day I got AF full force. So I would give it a few days to see if you get AF. If you don't, test again. If you still get a BFN then maybe call your doc. Good luck!

Re: beginning AF or implantation?
Implantation Bleeding is supposed to be very light - and either pink or brown. But everybody's body is different and I've heard that for some people they just assume it was their period.
I also had very light pink spotting about 5 days before AF was due this past month. I've never had that happen before. I'm like you and AF just comes full force when it's supposed to. I never spot. So I was convinced it was implantation. However, right on schedule 5 days later AF showed her ugly face.
So it really could be anything. Either the beginning of AF of Implantation bleeding. Only time will tell. Hang in there and test as soon as your body's ready. You never know

Re: beginning AF or implantation?
Thanks ladies. I'm thinking it's AF. Now that I've done more research, it seems I'm too many DPO for implantation bleeding. These past few months coming off BCP have been fun (note the sarcasm). I can't wait until my body regulates.
