Beginner help!?
Long..
I have a 1 yr old (turning 2 next week ) and we are ready to start trying for #2. My period just started, first one after coming off of BCP, and was 5 days later then my typical 28 day cycle on the pill. We 'tried' last month but I did not do any kind of testing to confirm O and I think we timed it too early as I was estimating based on 28 day cycle.
With my DD we got pregnant the first real month of trying (after coming off the pill) solely on estimating O and monitoring my CM but for some reason I'm convincing myself it won't be as easy. My friend is loaning me her cbefm monitor which she swears by and I was thinking about temping. I also have some opks that I received for free when purchasing early pregnancy tests. Should I temp, cbefm, and opk?? Or is that crazy? I tend to over think things and want to be fully in control
Anything I should know about using the cbefm? thanks!!

Beginner help!?
I don't use the CBEFM monitor so I can't comment on specifics. I use digital OPKs only. I find them to be so easy and very stress free (so far). I personally think I would stick with either the monitor or OPK's and supplement with temping... I think otherwise you may be introducing too many variables. I can just envision getting different readings on the OPK and monitor and driving myself crazy! That is just my 2 cents. Also, like I said I don't use the monitor, but I understand it takes a few cycles to 'learn' your cycle. Maybe someone else who uses it can comment though, I think there are some threads on here regarding it.
Also, just wanted to add my doctor recommended I wait three cycles after coming off BC before TTC. He said it takes your body some time to fully adjust and regulate. So I wouldn't stress just yet or have any preconceived notions whether or not you will have difficulities. Just try to stay positive, have fun and trust your body :)
Good luck to you! I really hope your stay on this board is short!!!
