Before and Afters of our backyard
We live in a townhouse in London and have a very small garden that was just a disaster when we moved in. It had huge concrete planters that we couldn't take out entirely, so we had to try to use and adapt them. All I can say is DH is amazing!!

thats fantastic! Did you get Alan Titchmarsh and Charlie Dimmock in? Or was it that DISHY Diarmud Garvin?

DH and I were wondering what the City Gardener would do if we applied to be on the show! If we had him in now, he would probably paint the whole thing pink again!!!

Looks beautiful, the pink was Miami circa 1976  You did an amazing job.
On a side note, do you plan on keeping the townhouse if and when you move back to the States?

Thanks everyone! It was mostly DH's doing - didn't realize he was so handy!!
Ah, we have a very convoluted house plan  We only have the ground floor flat in the house, but we're going to extend it, hopefully in the fall and then sell it early next year. THen we're toying with either buying a small house or doing the same thing again - buying a 1BR flat and extending it into a 2BR - and then renting that out when we move back to NY. So, yes, we'd like to have at least an apartment in London and something in NY. We'll see if it works out

That would be so awesome! I would love to have a flat in Paris.
