Bedtime/wakeup?

How old are your children and what time do they go to sleep and wake up (if they are in school/daycare)?

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

Julian will be 14 months on November 9th

He goes to bed no later than 6:45pm around 95% of the time. Usually 6:30pm.

He wakes up around 6:30am-6:45am... on his own.

This morning the sleeping prince snoozed until 7:15am Chat Icon which happens sometimes but the norm is twelve hours of sleep for him.

ETA - he is in day care on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am until 4pm. My mom takes care of him on Tuesday and Thursday, same times.

He naps twice a day, 1.5 hours each time. For a brief period he was doing just one nap, for 2+ hours but then he went back to two naps.

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

DD is 2.5

She has to get up with me at 6:45

Her bedtime is 8:30 but usually doesn't fall asleep until at least 9

Still takes nap most days at 12:30-1 for about 1.5 hrs.

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

DD is 4.
We don't have a set bedtime, but she will fall asleep in bed anywhere between 7:45 if she is really tired and 9 ish on a bad day. But in general I'd say 8:30 pm she is out

She is up around 6 or 630.
on a VERY rare occasion she will sleep later and we will have to wake her for daycare/pre-k at around 730

DS is 2. We put him down at 8:30 but he will toss/turn a bit before going to sleep, so prob after 9. He goes to a pre-school and I have to drop him off at 8, so I wake him up at 7. Some mornings every now and then he will wake up on his own.

Bedtime/wakeup?

DS is 4 and is in bed by 8. He wakes up between 630-7. He goes to school 5 days a week 8-3.

DD is 10 months old and teething, so up until 3 weeks ago she was in bed by 630 and slept through the night until 630-7. Now she wakes up screaming every 4 hours or so. Last night she made it to 500 am before waking everyone up.

My mom watches both my children all week.

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

Two boys 5 and 3.
Bedtime on weekdays 8 - 8:30ish
Wakes between 7 - 7:30 (My 5 yr old wakes usually around 7:30ish and I always have to wake up my 3 yr old or he'd sleep till 8:30 - 9AM)

They both go to school

Weekends if we are out 9 - 10:30ish. Sometimes earlier and sometimes later. Up around 7:30 - 8ish

WOW!!!!!!!!Chat Icon That's awesome!!!
DS #1 is 5- goes to bed around 8:00 (sometimes if he's being particularly ornery he doesn't actually go to sleep until 9Chat Icon ) and he's up by 6:15-6:30 most days. And the weekends if we go out, he almost always ends up falling asleep in the car. He still needs a nap but doesn't get one in school and by the time we get home, eat dinner and maybe some homework, it's hard to get him in bed much before 8:00.
DS#2 is 15 months and goes to sleep around 8:00 too and, when we're lucky, stays asleep until 6ish (occasionally a little later but he's also fairly frequently up at 5:30-5:45.) At daycare he seems to be averaging about one 2 hour nap a day. Sometimes he'll conk out on the way to or from daycare (15 mins tops.)

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

DD is 2. DS is 9 months. They both are in bed by 815pm every night. M-F I wake DS up at 630am so I can nurse him then it's off to his sister's room to wake her up. Then I get them both ready for DC. They are out the door no later than 720am. DD naps there from 1-3 DS has a morning and afternoon nap. Sometimes he sleeps in the care ride home. On the weekends they wake up between 730am-8am. DS naps 10am 1 or 2pm and 5. They last no more than an hour. DD naps from 1-4pm. They both have been on this schedule since 5 months. I'm one lucky mama!!!!

Bedtime/wakeup?

DD is 3 1/2 and still naps!

She goes to bed at 8pm - sometimes falls right asleep and sometimes sings, talks to her stuffed animals for about an hour or so.

She was waking up at 6:30am but since it is darker in the morning she has been sleeping until 7:30am. I think once we change the clocks it'll be back to 6:30am.

She naps anywhere from 1 hour - 2 1/2 hours every day.

Thanks :)

Yeah, we are blessed.

He's been this way since he was born.

I was in the hospital for four days following a CS and I remember, the first night, laying in the bed with him in that plastic bassinet on wheels next to me and just staring at him -- waiting, waiting, waiting for him to wake up LOL. First time mom thinking, any minute now!!! He'll need to be fed or changed and nada. FOR TWELVE HOURS. I was a zombie, exhausted and FOR NO reason other than I'm crazy. Chat Icon I got over that! LOL!

wake-up is anywhere from 615-715, we usually get to daycare around 9-915. She eats breakfast there so our morning routine is pretty quick.

Re: Bedtime/wakeup?

6yrs old. Goes to bed at 8:30-9:00 (closer to 8:30) and I wake her up at 6am
Weekends she wakes up on her own before 7am

She is in grade school.

BEFORE grade school (pre-k and lower) she was in care from 7am to 6pm. Still... she went to bed sometime after 9pm and before 11pm. Give or take. She still woke up at 6am. She would NEVER go to sleep before 9pm no matter WHAT. If she did she'd wake up at 1-2-3am Ugh! so annoying. Then she'd be AWAKE and if she went back to sleep she wouldn't wake up or be cranky all day. HATED IT!

Since infancy she's never gone to bed at the so-called normal times. She fell asleep when she fell asleep. If I tried to get her to go to bed earlier she just woke up earlier. Go to bed at 7pm, wake up at 4am (latest). As she got older I tried to cut her naps down to build up for night time but really it didn't work. She's just not that kid.

She's perfectly happy and healthy with her sleep schedule. She also puts HERSELF to sleep since about 4. She tells us "I'm going to bed" well ok then. Now at 6 she will be bright eyed and awake but knows time better "Mama is it bed time" yes sweetie is about that time "OK, let me brush my teeth, good night Daddy" and she and I will lay together for like 5mins and oddly she just passes OUT! Some mornings she'll meet me in my room at 6am if I haven't made it to her room.

She'll also *STILL* Take naps if nothing's going on. hahaha

I used to tell the doctors and they said they wanted her in bed earlier but she seemed very well adjusted and healthy. So they never pressured me.

He takes one nap which is usually 1-2 hours depending on the day.
