bedroom furniture help

DH and I just bought this set. We really fell in love with it, but when it was delivered, it's huge! I'm 5'6 and my dresser comes up to about my chest! It didn't look this big in the store. We live in a dormered cape, so our ceilings in the BR are a little less than 8 feet. We home to vault the ceilings in a few years. Do I say screw it, who cares, b/c we love the set or return it?
