Because I am insanely bored at work today
I have no idea what made me think of this....do they have forks in asian countries where chopsticks are the norm?
When I go to have sushi with my mom, she either asks for a fork or for the "special chopsticks." But what if you travel to a country and dont know how to use chopsticks? Do they have "special chopsticks?" Forks? Do you have to use your fingers?
Told ya I was bored. . .

They totally have forks!! 
When I was newly arrived in Hong Kong I had a meeting with some clients at a restaurant, the waiter discreetly brought over a knife and fork for my place setting; I looked up at him and said "What is that for?"

Depends on where you are...we were in a rural part of China and they did not have forks....we brought our own plastic ones because I'm a spaz with chopsticks.
