Because everyone else does it ........

This post is dedicated to my DH and all the other DHs out there who deserve some props!!


While I was getting ready for work this morning I nearly broke down in tears because I realized that of my summer wardrobe, nothing fits . Between all my pregnancies.. drugs... I put on almost 15lbs in a year. I'm totally ashamed and keep excusing myself.... but really, I could have done something about it if I was REALLY motivated enough to


Anyway ..... my DH saw how upset I was but knew there was just nothing he could say because this was just one of my MANY weight rants... Well, he texted me at work and said not to feel bad because we will go shopping this weekend... and that he stopped into Ann Taylor Loft on his way to work to see if they had anything that looked like I'd like, but couldn't find anything. He said he was hoping to get a few shirts to surprise me.


Much to often people look at the woman when it comes to infertility and loss... and the men get overlooked. My DH has handled the last year like such a champ. He's been so supportive and amazing throughout everything.

Go ahead ladies........... shameless brag post about your DH time ............

Wow, your DH is such a keeper That was really sweet of him! Sorry about the clothes not fitting, but on the bright side you get a whole new wardrobe

I have one! I was actually going to post about it.

Last night I flushed the toilet too hard (I know) and broke off the little flusher thing inside the toilet. DH told me to find a paper clip to attach it back on. I went to our drawers and couldn't find one. I was rummaging through all our drawers which are filled with junk and my frustration was through the roof. I ended up dumping 4789076 pens and all of our important paperwork on the floor (and his ipod) flung myself on the bed and cried hysterically for 40 minutes. He just calmly cleaned it up (telling the dog that he shouldntve done that!) and rubbed my back and talked to me until I fell asleep.

These drugs have me totally psycho!!!! We both have awesome guys

Aww, your DH is awesome! And I totally feel you on the clothes situation. Just going through one IVF cycle completely messed with my weight! (between the prednisone and emotional eating, I was a disaster!)

Last week I was going through the same exact thing and my DH took me shopping. With all of the stress, it was nice to have some retail therapy!

That is so sweet!

I went through the same. I gained so much weight... probably because of depression, meds, ect. that I stopped fitting into my clothes BEFORE getting preggo. I think I gained about 20-25 lbs.

It's good to know that you have a DH who loves you so much and supports you!

That is SO sweet This process is so much easier when your DH is on board and understands how hard it is!
