Bear Kingdom party?
Anyone ever been or have one there? If so what was the age of most of the kids. I was thinking of having Kiera's 5th birthday there. Most kids will be 4 and 5. Any thoughts? I've heard good things about it but I just don't know if I should wait another year or 2 for a place like that.

Re: Bear Kingdom party?
It's very cute. My DD has been to 2 parties there. I think 4-5 is a great age for it bc they are very into stuffed animals at that age. They do a nice job. The diff between that and Build a Bear is that you can serve pizza and cake. I guess you looked into the price though, I heard it was very expensive. I don't know if they have diff packages though so maybe the one I heard the cost of was the higher end. It was around $25 per kid. But if was defintely cute, cuter than Build a Bear bc there were table for the kids to sit at and they assemble the carrier and such instead of sitting on the floor at BaB.

Re: Bear Kingdom party?
Thanks for the feedback. The price is actually not that crazy compared to everything on long island. The basic package is $299 for 10 kids which gives them a kritter, a shirt to dress them in, a crate to take them home, pizza, juice, cup cakes, invitations, paper goods and you don't have to do a goody bag because they are taking home a stuffed animal. And then it's $20 extra per kid if you go over the 10. The deluxe package is $399 for 10 kids, $27 extra per kid. The difference is they can pick out a full outfit, with shoes and a sound.
The really nice thing too is you can bring in your own food for the adults if you're not getting them pizza. Pizza you have to order from them. Which to me can be a huge savings because some of these places kill you on food for the adults.
I think we'll probably go with this because Kiera is obsessed with dogs and stuffed animals.
