Beadboard question
Any idea how to get it to stay on the bathroom walls? All sorts of glues didn't work and my BIL ended up using white nails but you can clearly see them and it doesn't look right. We'll buy new beadboard if we can find a sure way to get it stay on. The boards almost seemed bent, not flush on the walls.

Re: Beadboard question
Use a glue, set it on the wall, and then remove the beadboard and let the air hit the glue for about 5 minutes to make it more tacky, and then reset the beadboard on the wall to make it secure.
Are you using a base molding and a chair rail molding too?

Thanks. I will mention it to BIL. We planned on putting the chair rail on top. Should that all be done at once to help it stay on better?

I would recommend using Construction Adhesive or Liquid Nails. Also locate the studs in the wall using a stud finder, draw lines with a pencil just above the top portion where the beadboard will end. Doing this will allow you to nail into the studs with white nails along the studs. Both glues above are strong and will definitely hold the beadboard to the wall. Go to Lowes in the paint area and ask someone about Construction Adhesive or Liquid Nails.
