Bday Party Gift Questions
My dd has been invited to 2 classmates bday parties, how much do I spend?
1. one girl is strictly a classmate we have never had any play dates or anything. Party is at a bounce place.
2. one girl my dd has developed a friendship outside of school and I have become friendly with the mom as well. We have play dates. her party is just the mom treating them to one of these kids dress up places where they do their hair and nails.
Whats an appropriate amount to spend?
ETA: woman #2 also just had a baby and I am not sure if I should get the baby a lil something just as a congratulations.

Re: Bday Party Gift Questions
dd just went to her first school bday party. It was at a craft place. Dd is 3.5. I spent $27 - frozen board game and a $15 gift card to TRU

Re: Bday Party Gift Questions
I'd do like $20 and then $30 for the one you are more friendly with

Bday Party Gift Questions
I tend to spend $25 on birthday parties. Unless it's a very close friend I tend to spend more. For number 2 I would still probably stick to $25 maybe $30 and I would get something small for the baby either an outfit if you think she had plenty of that pack of diapers wipes.

Bday Party Gift Questions
$25 seems to be the norm for my sisters kids parties.

Re: Bday Party Gift Questions
We usually spend $20-$25. We've definitely received things that were in a lower range than that, so I say spend what you can afford. I think when you ask on here the average $$ is higher than real life.

$25 for each is good. I think a small token gift (like an outfit) is a really nice gesture for the mom who just had a baby, but not necessary.

Bday Party Gift Questions
Im leaning toward the 20/30, also or somewhere around that . We have gotten gifts from friends that are in the 15 dollar range that my daughter loved and gifts that were 50 dollars that she could care less about. Would def get a small something for the new baby.
