BD questions
So once AF gets her bum out here this month I'm going to use the OPK's for the first time. I have the First Response Digital OPK-who uses that one and is it good?
2nd part-I went on 2 different online ovulation calculators-the one on webmd and the one on baby center. Web MD had my "fertile days" starting on May 18th through and including May 23. The one on babycenter has me fertile from May 21-May 26.
So even though we're using OPK's Dh and I plan on getting seriously busy from the 18-26.
My question is this-is it better to every single fertile day or every other?
I've read that the sperm aren't as strong if it's happening every day.
Inisght please!
TIA

Re: BD questions
I wouldn't base you fertile days on what either website tells you. Unless you;ve been tracking your cycles with them. Most of those website use a general rule of CD14 as O day or around there to determine your fertile window. And it just isn't true that all women O then. Even if you have a "perfect" 28 day cycle it doens't mean you will O on CD14. I would just start using the OPk's around CD10. everyother day from CD10 until you get the positive OPK, then that day and the following 2 days. Take a break the next day and then again the following day. O day is usually 12-36 hours after the + OPK. Also you may want to continue testing even after the first + as some women surge for more than one day which will change when you BD slightly.
This method is actually called Deanna's Plan. You can do some research for a more in depth explanation if you want.
Good luck!
ETA: as long as DH has no issues everyday will not effect sperm quality.

Re: BD questions
i used the digital smiley opk and starting testing on cycle day 11 on cycle day 12 I got my smiley. I tested both days at 7pmish. It so happened that we had already BD on cycle day 11 for fun but then we BDed on 12, 13, 14 off 15 and again for fun on 16. That was the first month i used an opk and I got a bfp on 11dpo. I'm now 24 and a half weeks

Re: BD questions
I loved my digital OPKs.
Since you don't know when you're Oing, I wouldn't do more than every other night until you get your . (If you O later than ou think you do, you're going to be exhausted when you need to be BDing). Once you get your , BDing every day until O is confirmed is fine, as long as your DH has no known fertility issues. And it worked for us!
