BD Question

Just a question - This is my 1st month TTC and I decided that I was not going to test or temp just try and BD around estimated O. I am pretty regular with a 29 or 30 cycle every month since getting off the pill in February. My question is if I am estimated to O on the 15 or 16 how long should I continue to BD for? I have BDed every other day since CD 11. I know a lot of you girls temp and tesr for O but if you were in my situation when would you stop BDing.

BD Question

Have you ever confirmed ovulation around day 15? I ask this because I have a 30-32 day cycle but I ovulate very late in my cycle. For example, this past cycle I ovulated on CD 24. I would just continue to BD every other day through at least CD 20.

Re: BD Question

I conceived both my sons by this way. I never temped/used OPK before. I just started BDing every other night from CD8 until CD25. I have an average 31day cycle so I wanted to make sure I covered my bases...Worked like a charm both times.

It's alot of BDing but I would say BD until about 1 week prior to next AF. This way you know that you got your O day in there somewhere even if it was early/late this month.

I've been using temp/OPK that last few months and they're making me insane. This month I decided to go back to my old trick which worked both times before. I'm only 4DPO so we'll see sooner or later.

Re: BD Question

i def agree with what u r doing in regards to your 1st month, just having fun and some sexChat Icon

imo best way to go!

if u think u o around cd 15 i would go everyother day cd 11,cd 13

then cd14,15,16 and if u can manage it cd 16

i think that is more than enough but in case u do ovulate later maybe cd 18 and cd 20 for funChat Icon

Re: BD Question

I have a pretty regular cycle, 28/29 days. When we decided to try for our first we just bd every night after my period ended until a couple of days before I was due again.

There were about 2 nights that we didnt get to.

Worked like a charm the first month!
