Re: BD on 1DPO

Since your bloodwork showed you O'd yesterday, no need to BD tonight.

no blood work, at least to tell me I O'd yesterday-- just OPKs and my body telling me I did... I can totally tell when I O.

I was just wondering if 1DPO was worth it-- in general.

Sorry, I misread your RE post. It wouldn't hurt, but if you're sure you O'd yesterday, then there's no need. Did you OPK today and it was negative?

Re: BD on 1DPO

Yes-- did OPKs yesterday and today-- and both negative.

Yesterday morning though, the regular line OPK looked positive, but the digital was negative.

This morning-- totally negative.

And my boobs are getting sore now, which happens for me right after I O.

I've heard that you should BD on 1 dpo too, because the egg can still be fertilized for either 12 or 24 hours... I forget which.

Re: BD on 1DPO

well my Re just told me that the egg can survive for 24 hours. So if you want, get busy. If not, Don't stress it.

Re: BD on 1DPO

I am trying to talk DH into it-- he just got home from a soccer game-- so, not sure if it's going to happen.

Re: BD on 1DPO

Glad you posted this. We missed it this cycle. We BD'd 2 days leading up to O, and then O day. The next night was Friday, and we caught up in Rock Band! I've been kicking myself all week.

Re: BD on 1DPO

Well, I fell asleep before DH came to bed, and he was tired and in pain from his soccer game.

I have to assume we did enough BDing for this cycle... if it's not in vain of course.

Re: BD on 1DPO

<--- the result of BDing at 1dpo!

I only know that because we had some things that came up during the days prior, and the first (and only) time we got to BD that month was the day after O!

Hopefully that'll give you some incentive. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: BD on 1DPO

So I didn't screw myself over this month by not BDing on 1DPO, right?
