BD/CD question

AF started 9/12 & today should be CD 10 for me. If I was supposed to start BD on the 8th (per Deanna's plan), but didn't until 1am (actually CD9) what do you think I should do? I can't ever seem to get settled & get to business Chat Icon early enough in the evening. Deanna's plan says start BD on CD8 and then every other night.

I hope this makes sense. I can't really explain my question better than the above. Tell me if it doesn't make sense & 'll see how I can better ask...TIA Chat Icon

Re: BD/CD question

I understand what you mean. Personally I would BD tonight, and continue on every other day.

You had enough time in between, and this way you're back on the plan you started at. Deviations occur, but it shouldn't obviously hinder anything. I think the plan is basically for you to get rid of "old" sperm, and create fresh for when you O.

Re: BD/CD question

It gets confusing BUT what I do is unless I fall asleep and wake up in the morning, I count it as the day before.

For example, even if it is 2 or 3AM on CD9 ( calendar wise ), I still count it as CD8 if I didn't get a full night's sleep yet. The way I figure it is, my body should go by MY sleep/wake cycle and NOT the calendar.

Not sure if this is right, but it works for me to keep track. Chat Icon

I would count that as CD 8 since you didn't go to sleep yet.

Re: BD/CD question

anyone else have any comments? I'm still not sure whether to BD tonight (CD 11, we didn't last night) or wait until tomorrow. I got 2 negative OPKs today & no CM.

ITA!! I never count anything as being "the next day" until after I've gone to sleep and woken up. So 2am on Wednesday is still "Tuesday night" to me. Chat Icon

Also, if AF started on 9/12, then that is your CD1 and 9/22 would be CD11 and today would be CD12. I don't mean to confuse you further, but just so you're counting the days correctly.
