BC Question
DH and I are not TTC yet however I have just gone off the pill for medical reasons after being on them for 8 years. This is my first month off, it has been about 2.5 weeks. Are there any side effects I can expect when I go off the pill? We've been very careful so I don't think I can be preg but I've been feeling a little sick in the morning and my nipples (sorry tmi  ) are really tender.

Are you asking about side effects related to pregnancy or getting off the pill? I've heard that the first month off the pill you can ovulate at any time so they consider you to be super fertile that whole month. I would definitely be extremely careful if you're not TTC. And as far as the tenderness, that is a symptom of pregnancy.

I was asking about the side effects of going off the pill. This is all very very new to me, can I take a pregnancy test? Is it too soon?

I was on the pill for 4 years. I had a whole bunch of new feelings after coming off. I felt like a teenager again, since my body was changing and acting differently. My face broke out, I was sore, felt cramps but never got my period. I was also an emotional mess as well. I have been off for a little over 2 months now and still have not gotten AF.
