BBT Charting Help!
Laura, where are you?!?!?! You're my expert!
Do I HAVE to take my temp in the morning? Or can I just take it the same time every day?

Re: Bought Basal Thermometer & OPK Tonight!
I don't chart so I can't be of much help there. I do recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler though. It was a great book & so informative. You can use Fertilityfriend.com to chart online.
As far as OPKs, just make sure you test in the afternoon. Hold your urine & 3-4hours before testing.

Thanks!!! See and all my friends made fun of me for only peeing a few times a day (haha TMI) but I guess it'll work in my favor now!

Re: BBT Charting Help!
Yes, you are suppose to take your temp when you first wake up at the same time every day. You shouldn't get up. I have my thermometer right next to the bed so when my alarm goes off I just reach for it. It took me a while to get use to it, but its been so long its a routine for me now, even on the weekends I find myself waking up at the same time, then I just go back to sleep after I take it. HTH!

I agree with everything Katiebell said. You need to take your temp before you get out of bed, talk, get up to pee, etc. All of those things could affect your temp.

Re: BBT Charting Help!
Does it matter that I missed CD1 and CD2... I took it at 10pm last night and didn't have the thermometer in my room with me this morning
I don't get up at the same time every day though. Some days I get up at 6:45, but most days I get up between 9-10, sometimes (if DD lets me) we sleep until 11.

You should try to take it every day. But in TCYOF, she says that as you get to know your cycles better, you don't have to take it all the time - just around when you're supposed to O. CD1 & 2 won't matter much because you know you're not O'ing yet. and you don't really have to take it after you O.
