I'm having a memorial day bbq with about 25 - 30 people (5 of them kids under 10). I'm having:
various chips / cold dips veggie tray
hamburgers hot dogs pulled pork (crockpot) green salad tortellini salad with provolone cheese greek panzanella macaroni salad potato salad??
fruit salad cookies
should i make any changes or add more food? also, i want to do a fun dessert for the kids i was thinking cupcake cones or make your own ice cream sundaes? what do you think? thanks!

Re: bbq menu
I think your menu sounds great...all my favorite BBQ food is there.
The only thing I would add is a sliced steak or chicken since burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork lends itself to being a sandwich for the most part. I would also take off one or two salads - 5 seems like a lot.
The cupcake cones sound fun! Ice cream will get messy fast if you are eating outside.

Re: bbq menu
Sounds yummy! That is alot of salads, what about switching a salad for baked beans or corn on the cob?

Re: bbq menu
thanks! i think i will take off a salad and add another side. Usually i make corn on the cob on the bbq but i have too much other stuff, how else can i make it? just boil it? and maybe i'll add bbq marinated chicken, that's easy enough!
