BBQ/Grills
I think I might get DH a grill for Father's Day since we will be moving to a house in the summer...
Anyone have any good reccos?
Webber is good right?
I want something nice, but it doesn't have to be *too* fancy, unless they are not too pricey-- but I think they can get up there in price.
We've never had one with apt living, so having one is luxury enough. Needs to prob be big enough for entertaining though.

Costco (in-store) had a beautiful Jenn-Air grill for $1500, but I couldn't find it online and I've read mixed reviews about the "Jenn-Air" grills. It was definitely drool worthy with lots of cooking area, 2 separate cooking zones, another zone for a griddle, small oven and storage for condiments, etc.. It might be worth checking out if you entertain a lot.
We have the Weber Summit S-620 and so far, so good. We owned a Weber Genesis prior to this one with no complaints. We stuck with a Weber because of their reliability. However, the Summit is still a bit small for us when it comes to cooking area (we host a lot). I know my DH intends to add a 2nd grill when he builds his BBQ island/outdoor kitchen.

We have a Jenn-Air and we are happy with it. We were a little limited because we went dropin for our outdoor kitchen. My family has always purchased Weber and they have lasted very long.

Can i get something decent for under $800? Preferably around $500?

I got a great Jenn-Air for around $400 at Target.
My Mom has a Weber and loves it.

you definitely can!
Ducane is made by Weber, so it's a great quality. It's also MUCH less expensive. I think we paid $300-$400 for ours last year. We really like it.

Absolutely!!! We just got a great Weber, not small by any means, but not the super deluxe version either and it was just under $500. So far so good.

Absolutely!!! We just got a great Weber, not small by any means, but not the super deluxe version either and it was just under $500. So far so good.

We have a Vermont Castings. Have had it for the 5 years we've lived here. It's a great grill and I believe we paid somewhere in the $500 area for it.

I got a Weber at PC Richards last year--it was around $500. We love it, just gave it its first real cleaning this weekend!
No idea what model.

We have the Weber Q320 and I'd recommend it for your price range. It's large enough to host a small party (which is perfect for us) but you might need something bigger if you are having large parties. We have a charcoal grill too as a back up if we should ever need it.
DH did a ton of research on grills and the Q320 came up recommended several places.

This is what we were consistently told so we got one of these. Just about everyone I know has the same one  We got it for $650.

We have a weber stainless steel grill it cost us about $750 and it came with the cover and tank. That was 4 years ago so it is probably a little more. I believe lowes has them.
