BBB or BRU?
Which one would you register at? I was thinking of doing the main registry @ BBB and then getting other stuff @ BRU to make it easier on the out of towners - or I could do a second registry at Target or Walmart.
I like BBB so much better, but I know they are only in this area so it would be difficult for OOT'ers to buy.
Thoughts? Ideas?
TIA!!

Re: BBB or BRU?
You could always do both. I did BRU because I have a lot of family out of town.

Re: BBB or BRU?
I registered at both, but kept the majority of the stuff on BRU because I figured BRU are more accessible for most people. I love the layout of BBB though and they have a much bigger selection in the store than they do online.

Re: BBB or BRU?
I did BBB and Target but wish I would have just done BBB & BRU. I found Target ended up only having a lot of stuff available online only. I got pretty much nothing off that registry and everyone else got me from BBB or gave me gift cards to BRU. I'm actually going to BRU today to get a lot of the stuff I didn't get and can't seem to find as easily at BBB.

Re: BBB or BRU?
I would do both! If you have some OOT's, then they're most likely going to buy something online so it really won't matter if it's BRU or BBB.
I would skip Target. From my experience, half to 3/4's of their stuff isn't available online and they also give you a problem about returning stuff if you don't have the actual receipt.

Re: BBB or BRU?
I have a feeling we will end up at both stores for different things. BBB is a much more organized store and seems to have more in the way of bigger items such as strollers. It is owned by the same company as Bed Bath and Beyond and seems like a "baby" version of the same store. BRU is a lot more accessible to more people across the state and I would imagine the country.
I feel the customer service is better at BBB at least as someone buying a gift for someone else. Each department had someone in it who knew where everything was, as opposed to BRU, whose employees seemed to know very little about their stock and couldn't be bothered to work too hard to help us out when we shopped there.
It is highly possible that it was simply the stores we visited, but those are the stores that are closest to where we live and most convenient for us to register when it is time.

Re: BBB or BRU?
Love the selection of BBB
But BRU registry is so much user friendly for OOS people and people who want to buy items.
You can update BRU online without having to run to the store all the time like BBB.
ETA. I originally created my registry on BBB but ended up transfering it all on BRU. I left a lot on BBB. Everybody bought at BRU not BBB.
BBB has a better selection of strollers, etc. Their staff is more knowledgeable.

Re: BBB or BRU?
we did BRU because it was a lot more conviant for us... BBB is more of a hike from where we are, and I loved being able to do most of the regsitry online- also, most of our friends and family dont live around a BBB...

Re: BBB or BRU?
Registered at BRU, but I like BBB better, but it is way too far away. I like that you can buy stuff off of the BRU registry at Toys R Us.

Re: BBB or BRU?
I registered at both. I felt that they both had enough different things and it worked out well. I also had a lot of out of state people. Some bought on line but some went to the store and had it shipped. If people buy in the store at BRU, they can still have it shipped anywhere!!

Re: BBB or BRU?
I have a lot of people out of state, so I registered only at BRU. I like BBB a lot, but with only a few stores, I was afraid most people would not make it there.
