Bathtub Re-glazing today - some questions...
We're having our bathtub re-glazed this afternoon. Any idea of how long it's going to take them to finish? They're supposed to be here between 1-2.
Are the fumes really strong? Can I have my son nap in his room a few feet away from the bathroom? (he's a very sound sleeper, so I'm not worried about noise, just the fumes  )
Has anyone used European Reglazing to do their tub?
I'll post before and after pics when it's all done!

It smells alot. It could take a few hrs and then for it to dry it could take a day or two. Do you have windows you can open in the bathroom?
I would keep him out of his room as long as I smell it. That could be a few days even.

We had ours done while we were on vaca & my parents let him in to reglaze. They told me the smell lasted for 3 days.

Do you have a pack and play he can sleep in? It's very humid out, so I don't imagine the smell will leave quickly even with the windows open. We had our entire bathroom reglazed (years ago) and that was alot of glaze, but it did smell. They usually put a fan into the window to exhaust it out. Do you know if they are doing this?

They will be exhausting out through the bathroom window. I have James napping in the PNP right now in the dining room - they should be here any minute. Maybe I'll have him sleep down there tonight as well....

UGh.. they did this in my apt..
It smelt SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! We actually put the cats overnight in Petco and got a hotel room for the night. ALL the windows were open and fans running. But for us it was around 3pm they finally got there. no way in HECK we were sleeping there. I came in around 8pm to check on things and it was super bad.
