Baths -- morning or night?
Do you bathe DC in the morning or night? Do you have a reason for this?
Generally I bathe him in the morning -- it's how we start our day on bath days. Recently he's been fussy before bed and I've read some things about warm baths before bed to calm down babies and I'm thinking of trying it.
I'm wondering when you bathe your baby and why!

I have always done it at night...it has been part of our night time routine for all 3 kids since day one..I think it calms them. then as a baby they get their final bottle right after...with the older...they eat dinner, get messy so it is nice to clean them up before bed...ESP in the spring too with allergens..get it off bodies and clothes..and not leave on bed, pillows, sheets...

i usuallydo them in the morning/noonish. Dh doesnt come home from work until 7 or later so i try to save any time i can with him

I've always done morning baths..........my DD is 4.5 now and I still shower her in the morning. I think I started it that way because I was too tired at night to bother and then I just stuck with it, I am use to it.

Baths -- morning or night?
I do mornings since evenings are busy enough just getting dinner and clean up accomplished. She's generally easy to put to bed but when she was younger and fussy in the evening I sometimes did it then to kill time.

At night. If she doesn't nap well during the day she wants to fall asleep before her bedtime. Once she's in the tub she gets so happy and excited. But that doesn't happen very often. Plus I work full time.

Really depends on the day but I usually aim for late morning. I've found baths neither wind them up or down so it doesn't make much difference to me.

I do night. I also put california baby calming baby bath bubbles in and ut tires her out i think its relaxing. And then she gets a bottle and goes to bed. Its part of our bedtime routine in bath nights.

Always at night. One, I work FT so morning baths just aren't going to work. But I like being able to get the day's grime off of her and it is our special time. It gives her an outlet to relax before bed.
