Bathroom Tiles

We are doing our bathroom over in June. Can anyone recommend where you got your wall and floor tiles? I am looking in Queens or Western Nassau. We dont want to go to Home Depot or Lowes.

TIA

The Tile Shop... thats the name of it? I really didnt want to go to Home Depot because I wanted individual attention from people who are knowledge about tiles.

Bathroom Tiles

Just ordered our bathroom tile from Tuscano tile shop in Commack (I know, not in your area). We had gotten tile there when we did our first bathroom and the customer service was great. This weekend, the owner helped us by asking a lot of questions about the look we wanted and then once we picked out the main tile, he showed us lots of different accent tiles and floor tiles, then even showed us different granite/marble with each look and recommended what color faucets etc would look good. We looked in so many shops for our first bathroom and even though this is a really small shop, they seem to have something "different" than the other shops and the service can't be beat. But, for our first bathroom, we did get our accent tile from The Tile Shop (the one in Commack) - they have a really big selection too.

I just realized, it might actually be East Northport - its on Jericho Tnpk, just east of Larkfield Rd, across the street from Home Depot

RAI Design in Garden City Park. We went to all the usual places like Procida, Old Country Tile, HD, Lowes, The Tile Shop, etc. but didn't find anything we liked. Loved RAI's selection and their customer service was great!

I purchased the master bath shower subway tile from Tuscano. Great price and great customer service. The owner knew that I was buying the shower floor tile and floor tile from HD and he did not dissuade me or make any negative comments. Would highly recommend.

Re: Bathroom Tiles

We used Marble Magician in Williston Park for bathroom tiles, and Fiorano (they have a few different locations) for our backsplash tiles. Both had a nice selection and everything went smoothly.

Re: Bathroom Tiles

Just got amazing customer service and an outstanding price from World Tile in Smithtown on 347 -- they have another location in Copaigue but I really like the guy in Smithtown because he was so helpful. He works within just about any budget - and ours was REALLY pathetic Chat Icon but he was wonderful... There are two guys there, an older and a young guy - both were fantastic. I shopped around too, going to four or five different places.

My mom used them previously for her kitchen backsplash and floor (pics in my album) and my sister used them for her master bathroom which I really should get pics of, it's to die for!
