I thought you took the wall out - that was the best thing to do. The bathroom is going to be so much bigger now.
Is your husband going to be putting fan in the ceiling? Our bathroom doesnt have one. We have to leave the window open when we shower. It is annoying.
If he didnt plan to do it, I would recommend it.
Are you doing pedastal sinks or double sinks? etc
Cant wait to see more pics

Yes we have a fan in the ceiling. We are having a small vanity 36". The bathroom is not that big. it was supersmall to begin with.
DH has done so many bathrooms he has so many ideas but this bathroom is small so some ideas got nixed. But the fan was a MUST!!!!!!!!
I love that he built a shelf in the shower. It is so big we can fit the costco size shampoo there and it wil not be seen!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Very nice and yes it did need to be redone!  My SIL's bathroom was like... all pink! It seems as though anyone who moves into a house that was owned by older people... the bathrooms are either pink, blue or all green! 
Your husband is doing a great job! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see it when it's done!

That was the style 30-40 years ago!!
and in 30 years, "kids" are going to look at our houses with the browns and greens and whites in the bathrooms and say "How gross"

we inherited the same exact bathroom - except replace everything pink with MINT GREEN  same black tile trim, same black towel bar... ugh
your renovations look great so far!

hah my parents had the mint green!! with black trim..... ths bathroom was a spit image of my parents bathroom in the house i grew up in we also had FOIL gold and green wallpaper!
