Bathrobes
Do your kids use bathrobes? I have a 5 year old and 2.5 year old and debating about giving them robes for Christmas with their favorite characters on them. They tend to wear slipper since I have wood floors and can get chilly in the winter.

Yes, my daughter is almost 3.5 and she's been using a rob for about a year now. Normally, she'll put it on in the morning for breakfast or after her shower at night to stay cozy.

Re: Bathrobes
My 3-year-old DD has a terrycloth robe with a hood that she wears after every bath. We towel her off, put on the bathrobe, and she wears it around the house for 15 or 20 minutes until we put on her pj's.

Bathrobes
My DS would have one on for about a second and a half before never touching it again.
I think it really depends on your kids.

Re: Bathrobes
thanks , since this is the first time they are trying robes I will start off with the inexpensive ones with the characters to see if the like / use them. If they don't (not much $$$$ wasted). If they really like them... plan on getting more.

It's funny that you ask because every time I buy them a robe they will use it the first week if that; then you won't see it again.

Re: Bathrobes
No, but I never was into bathrobes. When I get out of the shower I towel dry then get dressed. My boys take showers at night so after the shower they dry off and put on their pajamas. Half the time it takes forever for them to get dressed so one less thing to wash and one faster way to get dressed (skipping the robe step) is better for me. LOL! I think everyone is different though.

Re: Bathrobes
Two years ago I got my kids robes at costco. My ds never took to it but my dd did. I upgraded her robe to one from the great wolf lodge. I got it In a really big size so it will last a long time.

Re: Bathrobes
I just got DD a fleece bathrobe at Kohls. They had a TON of different characters. She loves it. After her bath she is always freezing so we dry her off and put it right on while i comb out her hair etc. If it's a weekend morning, she will keep it on for a bit too. It's so super soft and warm
