Do babies really hang out in bathrobes?
I don't really understand the concept of baby bathrobes...I hang out in mine while I am putting on my makeup, but I imagine that I'll just powder him or put on cream while he's on a towel...When do they hang out in a bathrobe? I love the little hooded robes, but they seem useless to me.

No. We got one as a gift and it was so cute, but we never used it 
We used those hooded towels though, even at 20 months still use them every bath.

That's what they're good for! First bath, take a pic and probably never use it again! Seems everyone always gets one as a gift, registered or not.
We're having a summer baby and are boaters/poolers so maybe I'll use it for in between dips!

We got one as a gift and we used it a few times when DD came out of the pool, after her wet suit came off but before we got her dressed. Never an after bath thing thing though.
I gave one as a baby gift before I had DD, and now that I know how useless they are I feel bad about that gift!
