Bath time - time to have fun or time to behave?
I usually let them play a bit then wash them and bath time's over. I let them splash but not me. We have a keep the water in the tub rule. On nights where we're in a rush, all bets are off though. My kids don't take baths together though.

Bath time - time to have fun or time to behave?
My two boys are 4 and 2 and we never bathed them together, ever. It's one-on-one time for each. We sing songs. They pour water from a pitcher. We sometimes have one toy in the tub but that's it. They can splash. Sometimes I'm soaked. But with our evening schedules (when baths are most frequent) it's the start of settling them down. Once they are out, it's books and bedtime. I guess we are boring.

If they are having fun I would let them have fun for a bit. Let them splash each other and get a little wet! jumping and malicious behavior is where I'd draw the line.
