BASEMENT REMODEL - befores/afters PIC OVERLOAD
So some of you have seen my posts about our basement remodel. The basement is about 95% done. We still need to furnish and get some décor but the big stuff is done!
So many pics… sorry!
DH did just about everything himself.
DH got some help from family: FIL is plumber and my dad knows electrical. Thank god for a handy hubby!
we only hired people for:
1. dig out and pour walls for basement entrance
2. my uncle to upgrade us to 220 electrical service
3. tile in bathroom

This will soon be our sons playroom

AFTER (oil tank removed and now laundry room) we still need to put in the sink
Added Pantry closet, will get new white fridge when this one craps out
The rest of the basement is for DHs private practice. We still need to get more décor and chairs in the waiting room

The cat would like some privacy PLEASE!
LOL -- it came out great!!! What a difference!! I love the tile in the bathroom -- everything looks great. It is amazing the transformation spaces can take!

its not that bad at all - just time consuming. DH even showed me how to measure, cut and hang the sheetrock. i did many pieces on my own. the worst part is the taping and sanding but you could hire out for just that. my dad did that, he hung the sheetrock and paid someone to tape and sand

omg! looking thru your pics and it seems ur the right one to ask for a double shower head question.
I see you have not only the 2 shower heads but the handheld shower also. did you run 2 seperate hot and cold lines or is it all done off of diverter valves?
My hubby is a plumber but we haven't even opened the walls yet and he's thinking what the best solution is to make it work so that we can have just the one showerhead with diverter to handheld and seperate option for 2nd showerhead OR BOTH at same time.
He does new commercial installations and has never really done this type of setup before.

gorgeous!!! Love it. Your DH & family did a great job.
And that frig can be painted white with appliance paint.  We did that to our frig in our apartment in our house. We used a roller to put the paint on and it looks great. Just thought you might want to know, just in case you really wanted it white.
