I want to pick one up today, and I'm not sure where to buy one or which type. Are they all the same?

Which one do you recommend?

Thanks!

the cheap ones are fine. just make sure to get one that has two decimal points for accuracy i think i got mine at target.
for me the best was that it beeped when it was done and saved the temp for the next time i turned it on. i wake up a lot on and off in the morning so i was able to wake up, grab the thermometer and temp, listen for the beep to signify it was done, and immediately go back to bed. sometimes it was so seemless that i would wake up and not remember if i actually took the temp or not. because the thermometer saved the last temp, once i was really up all i had to do was turn on the thermometer and see what the temp was and then chart it.

Thanks! I picked up the CVS brand one today. It had good reviews and measures 1/100.

Re: Basal Thermometers

I had problems with the cvs on it just didn't work...I would never get the same temp and it read my day temp like 2degrees lower then a reg thermometer. So I bought a Walgreens one and it's great!
