banking question
I took newborn photography pics and have a package 2 two more sessions (xmas, 1st bday) so i don't want to make a big deal...but i want to know what is right...
I paid the photographer all upfront (about 900$ which is a lot imo.) and she was in the process of moving and never cashed the check. 2 months later, she tries cashing it without giving me a heads up, but it bounced (my husband was paying bills). She now is asking me to write a new check (which is right) but wants me to pay the bounced check fee? who should pay that fee? its not my fault she tries cashing it months later?

IMO you should be tracking the checks still out there so it never should have bounced. So yes I think you should pay the fee.

I agree as well - and 2 months really isn't that long to cash a check IMO.

I think taking 2 months to cash a check is absurd and rude. However, it is your checkbook and I do think you should pay the bank fee. Sorry!
