Baking brownies-help
Every time I make brownies the edges (which are my fave part) get ROCK hard. like I can't even get them out of the pan. The rest is cooked perfectly. WT H do you think is going on?

Re: Baking brownies-help
i often take them out about 5 minutes under the cooking time and leave the pan on top of the hot stove...between the hot pan and a little heat coming through from the oven...they cook to perfection every time!
i usually only bake brownies in my long glass pyrex pan or my pampered chef pan.

Are you greasing the sides of the pan?

Sounds like you are cooking them too long.

Yes, I am greasing the pan and usually use a glass pyrex baking dish. I'm afraid if I take them out sooner the inside will be undercooked.

Usually a 9x13. I like a thinner, chewier brownie. Hate cake like.
