Re: Backstabbing Co-workers
Haven't had many encounters but I imagine I would always remember and watch my back in the future.

Re: Backstabbing Co-workers
Document, document, document.
I had one of them once and she tried to get me thrown out of the company.
But I had saved every email, written down every phone conversation and listed every meeting we had.
She's gone. I'm still here.

Re: Backstabbing Co-workers
Keep your distance - don't associate with them and keep communications to a minimum. I discovered this about one of my co-workers, a male associate, who also says some inappropriate things when he's alone with me. I've virtually cut off all communications with him, so he doens't have the opportunity to stab me in the back.

I've had this happen - not so much fun -
In my case, I called her new employer AND am pursuing a case with the district attorney. She should be served within the month.

Re: Backstabbing Co-workers
Everyone is saying keep your distance, and I agree, that would be my instinct as well but what about the old "keep your enemies closer" bit?

Do not discuss anything with he/she that is personal or could come back and bite you in the azz. Try to keep communication and anything else on a professional level.
