Back with a question!
Hi girls I haven't posted in a while bc this whole TTC thing has become way more stressful than I'd have hoped. My dr found a polyp that had to be removed so my fingers are crossed/lots of prayers that that is the reason we haven't succeeded so far. Regardless we are ready to make a go at this again and hoping for a bfp in september! So my question is should the OPK lines become darker and darker getting closer to the LH surge? I'm "suppose" to ovulate on Wednesday and the line is beyond super light if you could even see it and I'm confused! Thanks for your help in advance

yes it should get darker as you get closer to O. once it detects your surge the line will be just as dark/darker than the control line. GL &

I actually remember that the lines do not necessarily get darker the closer you get to ovulation. In fact I remember reading that it could be light one day and then dark/positive the next. Of course, I was TTC 2 years ago so maybe my memory is hazy, but that's what I remember.

This is what I've learned from OPK packaging as well.

I just know from my experience with OPK's this WAS the case. Maybe it's not the same with everyone?
