Back from the Doc!
So I went to my primary care doctor--and he also confirmed what my ob/gyn said from my test results--that I have diabetes. He checked my urine and it showed sugar in it as well...he decided to put me on Metformin to help control my sugar levels. I hate being put on medicine - but the doctor says I need it cause my sugar is just too high. 
I'm gonna start dieting even more than I was before and exercising like crazy....I want to get off these meds! I have to make an appt. with an endocrinologist that he recommended and take it from there.
Now the only part that had me a little sad...is that my doc recommended that DH and I stop any efforts of TTC for a little while. Simply because if I got pregnant now, I would most certainly need insulin during the pregnancy and I would face more issues cause of my sugar and weight. Now DH and I had said that we might put it off a few months since we have a vacation planned in November.....but its one thing to kind of toss the idea around and another to be flat out told you should wait.
BUT I agree with the doc, and I would rather wait a few months and have a healthy pregnancy than do it now and be high-risk. So I won't be actively trying but I plan on sticking around here and chatting it up with you all!!
Don't worry--I'm not sad about it--I'm just taking it all in stride.

Man I'm sorry Melissa. I'm glad they caught this, and you are able to treat this now rather then later. I'm sorry about the TTC thing but I guess the doctor knows best plus going to Europe does make it more fun to be able to drink  (I will agree with that!) I'm glad you are sticking around

Sorry you have to put ttc on hold. And just to warn you make sure you use protection while on Metformin. It will make you o on time with good eggs. PNP is not an option unless you want an oops  .
You will also notice it will be a lot easier to lose weight when you are on it. I had to stop working out because I was losing too much weight and was in danger of my wedding dress not fitting. I dropped close to 50lbs and was working out less then before going on it. Just watch your white carb intake or it can get ugly  . Make sure they gave you the extended release formula it is easier on the tummy. Um that's all I cant think of. It's not that bad of a medicine. I take 750mg twice a day. It was rough in the beginning but once I figured out what t eat it wasn't bad.

You know how I feel.. Thank god they found this!!!! Can you imagine God forbid, what could have been? I am so thankful that something positive can come out of this.. you are safe & you will take care of this- THEN breed the spawns of s atan

I'm so glad you found out now instead of later.
If the endo that your dr recommended doesn't work out FM me my DH goes to one he loves. He's been going to him for over 20 years.
