Back from Maternal Fetal Specialist....
I don't know if you all remember, but last week, I got a sketchy level 2 sono. They had found an intracardiac echogenic focus on the baby's heart, which can be a soft marker for Down's. So today, I went to Madonna and got another sono and met with the specialist, who thankfully said that there were no other markers and while he can't rule out Down's bc I did not have any other genetic tests, my chances are slim for having a baby with it. The baby looks good-- he/she looks just like my DH -- or so it seemed. Now I can relax slightly, even though I am not completely out of the woods.
