Baby's weight at 30 weeks
I had my 30 week scan and they said baby is measuring big and weighs in at four and a half pounds  Does this sound big to you? Dr said if I go to my due date she will probably weigh in at 9 lbs plus. This is making me nervous as I am very petite! What did your baby weigh at 30 weeks?

At 30 weeks 6 days my twinnies were 4 lbs 3 oz and 4 lbs 8 oz
ETA: I am not petite though... I am 5'8 with a larger frame so although its a lot of baby I can carry them... (Its getting tough though!!)

I really wouldn't go by what the sonogram says, they told me my son would be over 9lbs at birth and he was 7lbs!

I just went for a sono at 33w6d and my baby was measuring 4 pounds 9 ounces. At 31 weeks we were told our baby weighed 3 pounds 13 ounces.

Thanks everyone for responding to my post I feel so much better now. The way the Dr said it made me panick she said wow your going to have a BIG baby. My poor DH said I hope you can get it out

My youngest was born 8 weeks premature(32w5d) at 5lbs 3.6oz. If he went to term, he would have been 10lbs.

I went at just about 33 weeks and the baby was 4lbs 13oz...they are sending me for another sono tomorrow bc they are concerned the baby is gonna be big..so we'll see how much she weighs tmrw. Im just praying it doesnt mean a c-section...

DS was 4 lbs 3 oz at 30 weeks... He was born at 38w1d at 8 lbs 15 oz.
They told me he'd be close to 10lbs at 40weeks. I'm only 5'0"
ETA: I was hoping the measurement was off... but my Dr was VERY confident in the sono tech.
4 days before they induced me, he measured 8 lbs 10oz...
They were right on!

I agree. They kept telling me my DD was measuring big and at my last sono said she would be well over 10lbs at birth and she was born at only 8lbs 8oz. Big difference from "well over 10lbs".

At 36 weeks I was told 7 pounds 6 ounces and that I'll likely have an 8 pound baby...we will see!

at 30 weeks the baby was 3lbs 6oz, the tech said the baby will probably be around 8/9 lbs by teh time i deliver.
When i went to the doctor yesterday for my 34 week, the doctor told me the baby is in th 80/90th percentile (only 10% of babies are bigger than mine )

We have our growth sono next week so I don't have an answer but like the other girls said, soemtimes those measurments can be way off!
