Baby waking up earlier than normal - wwyd?
DD usually sleeps from 9-7, but this past week she's been waking up at 6. She doesn't cry, she just lays there "talking" to herself. She usually starts crying around 6:45. Should I just let her lay there? I want her to stay asleep until 7! (DD is 4mos). TIA!

I could have written this post word for word! expect my dd was sleeping from 8 till 7 and now is getting up at 5. She "plays" for a little bit and then cries. I am not sure what to do.
I would let her lay there and play if she is content for sure! Maybe she will realize you are not coming to get her and she will fall back to sleep? or she will just occupy herself until it is time for her to get up.

AHH! the SAME thing is happening to me! my boys used to sleep until 6:30a/7:00a, and now they are getting up at 4:45a/5:00a! They lay there talking to themselves until around 5:45a, then they start crying. i'm exhausted all day long and i don't know what to do!

This happened to me too but for some reason, an earlier bedtime resulted in LONGER sleep.
Def. try to put her to bed at 6-7pm (yes, THAT early).... You'll be amazed when she sleeps until 7am! If she wakes any earlier, treat it like a MOTN waking............ That is how we did it! Good luck!

DS bedtime routine starts at 6:20 when i get him in the bath; then DH does the bedtime routine with cup of milk, story, etc; so by 7 he'sup in his crib. lately he talks to himself until 7:30 and is now waking by 5:30 am. I want to flipping kill myself. I usually let DS play in his crib until about 6 when he starts to whine and cry.
I dont know if moving his routine earlier will help b/c its already 6:30 when im starting his routine.

Although I'm sorry so many of us are going through this, it's good to know I'm not the only one! I'll try to put her down to sleep earlier and hope that works. It stinks bc I get so little time with her that if I put her down so early I won't see her much

DS has done this twice this week as well. He gets his bottle in our bed and then goes down for a power nap before I start getting him ready. He naps with DH while I get myself ready.
