baby shower location
can anyone share their baby shower location and an idea on pricing...
my mom really wants to host a shower for me but i feel really bad having her spend a ton of money. looking for inexpensive options

My baby shower was at Waterzooi but I don't know the price per person. My bridal shower was at Cozymels and their pricing is online.
Both places did an excellent job and the food was great!

Waterzooi has three different menus. Ranging from 27 to 32 plus tax and grat
Davenport press is 27 plus tax and grat
Jonathan's is dependant on the menu. Either 28 or 32 plus tax and grat

It does have a seperate room. I don't know capacity. I believe the options are only buffet - I dunno if tht bothers you.

Mine is at the Carriage House, they have a separate room I'm just not sure of the price.
I would say have her look at some Italian Restaurants. We did our rehearsal dinner at La Famiglia in Plainview and I think it was around $20something a head.

I had mine at crabtrees. We did brunch buffet extra hr and drink package and it was 34 a person

I had my shower at Uncle joes a smaller italian restuarant in Lake Grove...it had a separate room that held 60 people...it was buffet style, i believe it was around 20 per person

I'm having mine at the Swiss Tavern in Lynbrook, it's a brunch buffet for about 50 women. I think it's like 15 pp

my baby shower is at verdi's of westbury. not sure of the pricing, but we did our rehearsal dinner at the one in Whitestone and I think it was about $30pp.
My bridal shower was at Milleridge Inn. If you do brunch there, I believe it is very reasonable.

I'm not having a baby shower  , but my bridal shower was at Bellissimo in Amityville. The private room was very nice, and I don't think it was that expensive. Minimum is about 30 people.
