Baby shower invite question
So I just started a new job the beg of Dec. Obviously I was not going to invite anyone from work since I just started, etc. But I happened to really click with one of the girls here...she sits next to me, is also pregnant, we have been taking prenatal yoga together and going out to lunch sometimes. She would be the only person I would invite- I'm not really close to anyone else (besides small talk, etc.). Is it weird to invite just one person from work? Should I not even bother?

Baby shower invite question
Invite who you want and don't invite who you don't want. As long as it's not discussed in front of your other coworkers who aren't invited it's fine. You can't be friends with everyone, but I wouldn't make it obvious I was excluding people either.

and since you are friendly with her maybe just let her know you arent inviting anyone else from work so that she knows to not bring it up

I think it is fine to invite just one person from work. It would be more awkward if you invited like 6 out of 7 coworkers.

i didn't invite anyone from work because there are like over 25 women
in my office..but they gave me beautiful shower at work.

I actually have a similar problem... I'm planning to invite an ex coworker with whom I remained very friendly. But she is good friends with a current coworker, with whom I'm friednlyish but not really close. I keep thinking I should invite both of them cuz I feel bad of the other girl finding out and I feel bad for the one who will come and not know a single person at the shower...
