Baby Name Popularity
This has probably already been shared before, but here is the link to the Social Security website, which lists the top 10 boys and girls names for last year.
Also, on the bottom right corner of the webpage, you can enter a name and see how popular it has been over the past few years.
Baby Names
I'm having lots of fun playing with it! Enjoy!

Re: Baby Name Popularity
I didn't realize Emma was so popular! I don't know anyone with that name and that's the name we decided on. Hopefully there aren't too many of them in her class

I know that was the popular name of the 70s, but I have not seen a little girl Jennifer in ages. I guess all names are cyclical, like Mary and Jane were very popular at one time.
I had a not so common name growing up and I liked that I was the only one, so I think I am proned to pick a less popular (but not obscure) name for my DC

Re: Baby Name Popularity
I love Emma and Emily and they are very popular, but I don't know any baby Emily's or Emma's actually.
We are having a boy and his name will be Christopher Michael, and I think those are both in the top ten, but I had no choice, it's DH's name

Re: Baby Name Popularity
I'm so torn about this! Our potential girls' names are Maggie and Abby (Margaret and Abigail).
Abigail is #4 Margaret is #151...thought so
I don't know children with either name though...sooo...still undecided!
