baby name dilema
I know we still have plenty of time (not due till Feb) but my DH and I can not agree on names for the life of us!! I mean we're on totally different ends of the spectrum!
Anyone else have this problem??

Umm yea... we are soooooo undecided!
DH thinks once we know the sex it will work itself out but I am unconvinced.

oh yes.  you should hear some of the doozies he comes up with. Zeus Hercules????
It was MUCH worse with girl names (if you can imagine based on Zeus), so now that we know we are having a  at least we are only fighting over those names.

Buy a baby name book when you're ready. I felt the same way, but know that we're actually tacking each sex by alphabet, we found a lot of names we do agree on! Good Luck!

My husband wants to do the whole "game time decsion thing too" and I said NO WAY- for exactly the same reasons Does it look like we have "Stupid" written on our foreheads

We had the same dilema. We both write a list of the names we liked (as many as you wanted). Then, we would review them and only the "really" bad ones got crossed off. Then, combine your lists and leave yourself with about 4-5 names for each. Over time, some of his will grow on you and vice versa. You have a lot of time to add and erase from your list, so have fun with it!

We can't agree on names either. We actually sat in Barnes & Noble one day looking through several baby books and couldn't find any boy names that we both liked. We're a little closer to agreeing on girl names, but he hates the ones I love. We're not finding out the sex so we have two sets of names to argue about. We decided to revisit the name topic in 1 month. I hope DH will change his mind and just agree to the girls names I like.

We disagreed like crazy in the beginning. He hates all of my favorite names and I think his taste is too old fashioned. We have actulay, over time, come up with some really great choices.

luckily DH and I are on the same page with boy names, but girl names, well, were not 100% in love with any of our choices. I think once we know the sex, we'll crunch some down.
